• Black Sands Shares Debut EP “Afterglow”: Streaming

• Amsterdam-based alt-pop recording producer Andrew Balfour, aka Black Sands released a debut EP “Afterglow” on July 30, 2021.
  The 5-track EP features guest appearance from Martino.
  The EP is a collection of singles exploring the process of grief after the tragic, sudden death of his sister.
  Andrew Balfour said of the EP, “Like many people who go through such a traumatic loss, I didn't know how to process these complex emotions and talk about it. Music helped me focus that confusion and allowed me to grieve. Afterglow is about the moment you decide to take a step and find beauty in living and moving forward.”
  Taking inspiration from a wide selection of genres, Andrew Balfour unites the music of his past with more contemporary sound. The result is that he created a refined and balanced harmonization of pop and R&B.
  Andrew Balfour shared on social media, “This was the hard work and input of creatives from all over the world. This has been the most honest, vulnerable piece of music and art I've worked on and hope you all find something vulnerable, real and authentic to connect to as you listen to it.”
