MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal ran Round 3 and Round 4 at Peniche in Portugal on October 18, 2018.
After Round 2, 2018 World Title race is narrowed down to Gabriel Medina (BRA), Julian Wilson (AUS) and Filipe Toledo (BRA).
Current ranking No. 2 Filipe Toledo (BRA) came back from elimination Round 2, but he was defeated by Joan Duru (FRA) in Heat 7 of Round 3.
This result marks 2018 World Tile door was closed for Filipe Toledo.
While, Gabriel Medina took down Ryan Callinan (AUS) in Heat 6 and Julian Wilson beat Ian Gouveia (BRA) in Heat 12, respectively.
Also, Gabriel Medina advanced to Quarterfinal after winning in Heat 2 of Round 4.
Gabriel Medina can take the Title here in Portugal, but only if he wins and Julian Wilson fails to make the Semifinals.
Also, Brazilian soccer star Neymar Jr. cheered Gabriel Medina at Peniche.
Gabriel Medina said:

Julian Wilson said:
