Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Louis The Child “Nobody Like You” featuring Vera Blue
Winnetka-based DJ duo Louis The Child, consisting of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett, will release their debut album “Here For Now” on June 12, 2020.
The album contains 14-track, featuring guest appearances from Quinn XCII, Chelsea Cutler, K.Flay, Vera Blue, Foster the People, DUCKWRTH, Bob Moses and Drew Love.
From the album, the duo released a new song “Here For Now” featuring Australian singer Vera Blue. The duo co-wrote the song with Martin Doherty of CHVRCHES.
“The beat for this song had been sitting on our computers for about a year before we wrote to it,” the duo reveal in the press release. “It reminded us a lot of the synth-pop music that was coming out in the early 2010s from people like CHVRCHES [Martin Doherty co-wrote the song], The Naked And Famous, Passion Pit, etc.”- source : Dancing Astronaut
