Twenty One Pilots Shares New Song “Level Of Concern”
- American musical duo Twenty One Pilots is back. Amidst all the chaos of the Coronavirus outbreak of 2020, everyone in the live performance industry was laid off due to government regulations and fear of spreading COVID-19.
The duo released a new song “Level Of Concern” on April 9th, which is their first single since their fifth studio album “Trench”.
The duo will donate a portion of proceeds from the song to Crew Nation, which is Global Relief Fund For Live Music Crews. Crew Nation is powered by Music Forward Foundation, a charitable 501c3 organization, that will be administering the fund.
The accompanying music video was directed by Twenty One Pilots' longtime collaborators, Real Bear Media.
Lead vocalist Tyler Joseph tweeted, “always writing, but this one feels like it should just come out now. first song i ever wrote on electric guitar. i think it’s simple but hopeful. i also want a portion of whatever money this song makes to go to this charity i saw called crew nation. it provides funding for people who work in the live music industry who don’t have a job right now. no one knows when live music will get back on its feet. i’ve met so many amazing people working venues and touring with bands. hopefully we can do something to help some through this song.”
