Grace Carter Releases New Song “Amnesia”
- London-based singer-songwriter Grace Carter has unveiled a new song “Amnesia”. She dedicated the song to her father, who was absent from her life as he was raising another family. She grew up under her step-father, who is former Music Week journalist Paul Phillips.
She wrote about the song on social media, “Amnesia was written in August, the day after I reunited with my father. I’d felt lost, I had dealt with my emotions through songwriting for years but my situation remained the same. It was this day that I felt like I found clarity. This song is everything I have needed over the past few months and now it is yours!! Thankyou to everyone involved, my musical family have turned into my actual family and I’m so grateful to have you all in my life. This is just the start.”
Last year, she released her debut EP “Why Her Not Me”. After the EP, she has released “Heal Me”, “Don't Hurt Like It Used To” and “Fired Up”, as well as covered Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game”.
The new track is the fifth single of 2019.
