Juletta Shares New Song “Strawberry” on SoundCloud
New York-based singer-songwriter Madeline DeWalt, aka Juletta has delivered a new song “Strawberry” via SoundCloud.
Jazz vibe the song is the first single of 2019 following her debut EP “Wild Nature” which was released last November.
She worked with a producer Ishan for the song. Juletta told The Fader about the song, “The song tells the story of someone trapped in a state of flux, being pulled back and forth by what’s ahead and what she’s leaving behind.”
Juletta is currently working on her debut album along with Ishan. The project was conceived in the winter of 2018 and will include songs inspired by a series of interviews Juletta conducted with women in New York City that following summer.
She said of the album, “This project is a testament to female strength, love and identity-- through my lens on the women around me.”
The album is expected to be released in 2020.- source : The Fader
