- Australian rapper Iggy Azalea's new album “In My Defense” arrived on July 19th. The album is her first LP in five years.
Originally, she recorded her second album entitled "Digital Distortion" including the singles "Team", "Mo Bounce", "Switch" and "Savior" in 2016.
But the album had been shelved completely and sighed to Island Records in 2017. She continued to work for the new album, however she left Island Records and launched her own label Bad Dreams as an independent artist.
She finally released “In My Defense”, which is the follow-up to her 2014 debut album “The New Classic”.
"The reason for the title In My Defense kinda comes from the internet" Iggy Azalea said in an interview with Radio.com. "I think when you're a person that's a public figure, sort of your life becomes about defending yourself. So this is kind of saying my piece, but it's not a serious record."
The album comprises of 12-track and features guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Kash Doll, Stini and Juicy J.
