Netflix’s Black Mirror character Ashley O, performed by American singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus, premiered a new music video for “On a Roll”.
It was released as part of the soundtrack from the third and final episode of the fifth series of the British science fiction anthology television series "Black Mirror".
The song is a rewrite of the Nine Inch Nails' industrial rock track “Head Like A Hole”, released in 1990.
“It’s really important for people to feel like they’re in control of their own destiny, and that means having the confidence to be who you want to be," Ashley O said in a statement. “They’re kind of there in my mind while I’m sleeping, so when I wake up I have to really quickly write it down because I don’t want it to just disappear,"she stated.
Ashley's longtime manager and aunt Catherine Ortiz added, “The lyrics are so true. Ashley has worked very hard, and now she’s going to get what she deserves."- source : Rolling Stone
