Shura Announces New Album “Forevher”, Releases New Song “religion (u can lay your hands on me)”
British singer-songwriter Shura announced that her sophomore album “Forevher” will be released on August 16, 2019.
The album is her first LP in three years. It comprises of 11-track, co-produced by Shura and Joel Pott.
From the album, she released the second single “religion (u can lay your hands on me)” alongside the music video, directed by Chloe Wallace.
The clip is inspired by Jude Law in the HBO series "The Young Pope". Shura said of the video on a statement, “[It’s] a certain kind of Eden. A new kind of Religion. For centuries we have been told by different faiths so much what is right, what is allowed…but here the leader is a woman, and the women are encouraged to love each other. We wanted to make a world of sexiness without being exploitative and iconography without being disrespectful.”- “Forevher” Track List:
