Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has unveiled a new song “Hold Me While You Wait” from his upcoming debut album “Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent”.
The song follows up "Someone You Loved", which was released last November and reached No. 1 on the UK Singles chart.
The track was written by Jamie N Commons, Jamie Hartman and Lewis Capaldi.
The debut album comprises of 12-track and is out May 17th.
"'Hold Me While You Wait' is a song I wrote about the uncertainty of being in a relationship when your partner isn’t sure what they want," explained Lewis Capaldi in a statement. "There’s an impending hopelessness to the whole thing, on both sides, when they’re not sure whether they want to be in that relationship or not.
