Madonna Premieres New Music Video for “Medellín” featuring Maluma on MTV
Earlier this month, American singer-songwriter Madonna and Colombian singer-songwriter Maluma premiered the new song “Medellín” on Apple Beats 1.
This marks the first time Madonna and Maluma have worked together.
She talked about this collaboration on the radio show, "I met him backstage at the (MTV) Video Music Awards and he was very sweet. The next day he sent me flowers and said what a great honor it was to meet me. ”He’s so great to work with. One of the most easygoing, open, warm, generous – doesn’t leave the studio until the work is done. Has great work ethic. I adore him. Nothing but great things to say about him."
On April 24th, the duo dropped a new music video for “Medellín” on MTV, directed by Diana Kunst and Mau Morgó.
The song will appear on her upcoming fourteenth studio album “Madame X”, which is set to be released on June 14, 2019.
The album comprises of 13-track and features guest appearances from Maluma, Quavo, Swae Lee and Anitta. It is her first LP in four years.
