Minneapolis-based electro-pop duo Now, Now has shared a new music video for “MJ”.
The video was directed by Alexa San Roman and a half of Now, Now KC Dalager. The duo started to create the video months ago in Los Angeles.
The song appears on their third album "Saved" the release back in May. It was written by Bradley Hale and KC Dalager.
The album is the band's first album in six years, and also their first album since the departure of guitarist and background vocalist Jess Abbott in 2017.
The track was written about Michael Jackson. In the clip, she has connected with MJ via online. She told DIY about the song in an interview back in May.
“I felt he was someone that was a connecting point between me and someone else, only to realize that was used as a connecting point between that person and another person,” KC Dalager said. “So this song is me venting to Michael about that situation.”
The duo supports St. Lucia's tour three days at Concord Music Hall, The Barrymore Theatre and Music Hall Mpls between October 3th and 5th.
