- Night Lights Premieres New Song “Talk to Me”
- Los Angeles-based alt-pop band Night Lights has shared a new song “Talk to Me”. The song was premiered exclusively on Billboard.
The track was written by Mauricio Jimenez, Yusuke Sato and Dag Hanken, and produced by Brian Phillips. The song is their first single in two years since "Childish".
The song is a hooky pop-infused rock anthem bursting with colorful sonic soundscapes and powerful melodies.
"'Talk to Me" is a fun song for us. It's a throwback about reminiscing our first crushes and wondering what would happen if our paths crossed with them again today," Mau Jimenez told with Billboard. "Writing this song really pushed our boundaries and we hope people have as much fun listening to it as we did creating."
- Night Lights is composed of Mau Jimenez (Vocals), Yusuke Sato (Guitar) and Dag Hanken (Drums) from different countries Mexico, Japan and Norway.
They met while still in college in Boston. Inspired by the likes of Mutemath, Two Door Cinema Club and Friendly Fires, the trio have crafted a fresh and infectiously catchy sound, which sits somewhere amidst the mix of their musical and cultural influences.
The trio released the debut song "Childish" in 2016, which being featured in both the Viral 50 Global and Viral 50 US Spotify charts.
