Mike Shinoda Performs “Crossing A Line” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
- Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 19th, where he performed “Crossing A Line”.
This maarks his solo TV debut and first performed the song on TV.
The song was released in March 2018 as the first single off of his solo debut album "Post Traumatic", which was released on June 15th.
The album features guest appearances from Blackbear, K.Flay, Chino Moreno, Machine Gun Kelly and Grandson, and follows a three-track January EP, also titled "Post Trauamatic".
The solo album was released for the first time since Chester Bennington’s death.
Mike Shinoda said, "I think those thoughts are really natural. When I wrote some of that stuff, I was like, 'Oh, should I say that? Does that sound weird?' But I think it would be true for anybody in this situation. When you go through a difficult situation, sometimes you question stuff you don't need to question. And I did. At a certain point, I was afraid just to write a song or record something, which is natural."
He performs Post Traumatic Album Release Show at The Gramercy Theatre in New York on June 20.
He will embark Post Traumatic Tour in support of the album in August. The tour takes place in China, Japan, the UK and Europe.
