Chromatics Premieres New Music Video for “Blue Girl”
- American electronic pop band Chromatics has released a new music video for “Blue Girl” directed by Rene Hallen.
The video features impressive images of the band playing and mirror of behind the stage.
The track will appear on their forthcoming fifth studio album “Dear Tommy”.
Originally, the band started to record the new album in 2014, following previous album "Kill for Love" and the album was supposed to release in 2015. But the band had subsequently re-recorded the entire album.
The album was preceded by the singles "Just Like You", "I Can Never Be Myself When You're Around", "In Films", "Shadow", "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and “Black Walls”.
Chromatics recently shared a vinyl-only EP called "Camera". The EP features unreleased material, including a haunting take on Dear Tommy’s title track and "Flashback To Forever".
The album is set to be released in this fall. It is their first album in six years.
- Chromatics was formed in 2001, consisting of Ruth Radelet (vocals, guitar, synthesizer), Adam Miller (guitar, vocoder), Nat Walker (drums, synthesizer), and Johnny Jewel (producer, multi-instrumentalist).
In 2015, the band created the soundtrack of "Lost River", directed by American actor Ryan Gosling. Last year, they joined in "Twin Peaks: Limited Event Series" soundtrack, in which the band performed on tracks "Shadow" and "Saturday".
