Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Georgia Flip, aka G Flip has delivered a new song “Killing My Time” along with a lyric video. The song follows up her debut song "About You".
She told triple j about the song, "To be honest I wasn’t planning on releasing this song as the next single but... I wrote it the week before ‘About You’ so it’s pretty fresh in the mix. They're all like, 'this is awesome, amazing!' It's literally all my friends' favourite song."
Also she told a radio station how creating the song that she used voice memos with iPhone. "I've got 731 voice memos of song ideas that I’ve been putting together or collecting since 2014, or whenever the first iPhone came out," she said. American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth told Rolling Stone that the same thing previously.
Back in March, she appeared on SXSW Conference & Festivals in Texas, where she performed the debut song and the new song.- cnNcamIHMEI

G Flip said of the song in a statement;
"The story behind the lyrics on 'Killing my Time' revolve around a girl I was seeing, who kept distracting me from making music. My bedroom is my studio and she only wanted to stay in bed and make love all day. It was hard to escape and be productive so I inevitably I ended up breaking up with her because I wanted to focus. It was fresh on my mind once I sat down to write this song. She was 'Killing my Time.'"-
