Kindo Releases New Album “Happy However After”
- New York-based pop and Jazz band Kindo released the fourth studio album “Happy However After” for the first time in five years on April 13, 2018.
The album comprises of 10-track, including two singles "Human Convention" and "Return To Me", which were released in early this year. Produced by frontman Joey Secchiaroli.
The band created an original sound with blending of smooth vocals, rhythmic Jazz, Rock, early 80's pop music. Especially their chord progressions are inspired from Jazz, and sophisticated.
Even though the band is based in New York, their melody reminds us of Los Angeles sound like Steely Dan, Pages and Mr. Mister.
Also, on "Catch The Gleam", "About Love" and "Obsolete", you can hear so beautiful ballads.
- Kindo was formed in 2006, consisting of Joey Secchiaroli (guitar, vocals), Steven Padin (drums, percussion), Jeff Jarvis (bass), Danny Pizarro (keyboards), Mike Carroll (guitar, sizes), Geraldo Castillo (percussion), John Baab (guitar), Kelly Sciandra (keyboards) and Darren Escar (saxaphone).
Originally, band started as The Reign Of Kindo, but the group changed the name to Kindo in 2018.
In 2007, the band released a debut EP "The Reign of Kindo EP", reaching No. 5 on the Billboard Middle Atlantic Heatseekers chart.
Since then, the band has released three albums such as "Rhythm, Chord & Melody" (2008), "This Is What Happens" (2010) and "Play With Fire" (2013).
