American EDM DJ Marshmello and British singer-songwriter Anne-Marie appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, where they performed their latest song “Friends”.
This marks Anne-Marie's first time guest appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
The song was released in February 2018 and written by Marshmello, Natalie Dunn and Anne-Marie Nicholson. Also the track is included a long awaited her debut album "Speak Your Mind", which is set to be released on April 27th. The music video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, was unveiled on February 16, 2018 and has racked up almost 30,000,000 views in less than a month.
The song currently sits at number 5 on the UK Singles Chart and Anne-Marie's first top five UK hit as a lead artist.
Anne-Marie said, “The thing I love about Marshmello is that he caters to individual songs as a producer. He has his vibe, but he also really puts something on the song that the song needs, instead of having his thing and everything sounding like him.
