American electronic music trio Major Lazer's new music video "Run Up" arrived. The video features PARTYNEXTDOOR and Nicki Minaj, Directed by Paul, Luc and Martin.
The song is taken from their upcoming fourth studio album "Music Is the Weapon", which is expected to be released later in 2017.
The album includes already released singles like "Cold Water" with Justin Bieber and MØ, "Believer" with Showtek, "My Number" with Bad Royale and "Hard Beat" with Camila Cabello and Travis Scott.
The directors explained about the concept of the video;
"The idea was to laugh at ourselves and at the unconditional love we bear to our smartphones. Humor and absurdity came naturally in our speech because our will was not to accuse someone or something but just exaggerate it to foster reflection."
Also in January, their documentary film "Give Me Future" was premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. The documentary is filmed their historic 2016 concert in Havana, Cuba.- source : The FADER
