Westlife Announces New Album “Wild Dreams”, Premieres New Song “Starlight” on BBC Radio 2
- Irish boy band Westlife announced their 12th studio album “Wild Dreams” would be released on November 26, 2021.
The album is their first LP since the 2019 comeback record “Spectrum”.
Also, it is the first album under their new label EastWest Records, who signed to the group earlier this year.
The band said of the album, “This album means more to us than anything we have done before and has been inspired by the challenges we've all overcome over the last 18 months. The maze of emotions we all experienced during the pandemic drew us to songwriting and has helped us create a really special album that we have everything we love in music.”
From the album, the band premiered a new song “Starlight” on Zoe Ball's BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
It was written by Daniel Bryer, Jamie Scott, Mark Feehily, Mike Needle, Peter Rycroft, Shane Filan and Tom Grennan. Produced by Lostboy.
The band has already filmed a music video for the song, which will be premiered soon.
