X Ambassadors Releases New Song “Okay”
- American rock trio X Ambassadors, consisting of Sam Harris, Casey Harris and Adam Levin, released a new song “Okay” from their upcoming fourth studio album “The Beautiful Liar” on July 30, 2021.
It is second single off of the album, following “My Own Monster” released back in June.
The song is accompanied by a music video. It was written by Adam Levin, Andrew Jackson, Andrew Wells, Casey Harris, Sam Harris and
Tommy English. Produced by Andrew Wells and X Ambassadors.
Sam Harris shared on social media, “'Everything's gonna be okay.' I hate saying it. Life is too unpredictable. Things happen that are out of our control all the time. We all are living in a constant state of uncertainty. And yet… I say it all the time. 'Everything's gonna be okay.'”
He continued, “I wrote this song for my wife. She was going through a particularly rough period of time, and I wanted to try and comfort her. I wanted to tell her everything would be okay… but I didn't want to lie to her. The truth is, I had no idea if things were going to be okay or not. But what I could tell her was this: that I would be right there by her side no matter what happened. We all have to keep going. Even when things fall apart.”
- The new album contains 16-track and is set to be released on September 24, 2021. It is their first album in two years.
The trio will The Beautiful Liar tour in North American in October and November. The tour kicks off at HOB in San Diego on Ootober 15, 2021 and will conclude at Belasco in Los Angeles on November 20.
Also, the band will launch Europe tour in early 2022.
