German DJ Topic and American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha have shared a new music video for “Chain My Heart”.
The song was released back in June. It was written by Bebe Rexha, Tobias Topic, A7S and Petter Tarland.
The video was directed by Jason Lester, who shot it in Los Angeles. The clip is described “a nod to ’80s videos and action films and a wink to Berlin nightlife.”
The song itself has already notched over 14 million global streams.
Bebe Rexha said of the song, “’Chain My Heart’ is about finding somebody that truly captivates your heart, and not wanting to let them go. I had a great time working together with Topic, he is very talented, and I am so excited for everyone to hear this song!”
Topics said, “When creating ‘Chain My Heart,’ we noticed relatively early on that the song needed a strong woman, who could convey a certain edginess with her voice. With some melodies you directly imagine the person you want on the track in the process. Bebe Rexha was the one who struck our minds instantly.
