Billie Eilish Performs “Your Power” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
- American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform her latest song “Your Power” along with her brother FINNEAS.
The song was taken from her upcoming sophomore album “Happier Than Ever” last month.
Billie Eilish told Colbert about the song, “I would say is my favorite song that I’ve ever written…I think that there’s times in life when you be allowed to feel cocky about something. I am very proud of myself with this song. I feel that I can never top it.”
The new album is set to be released on July 30, 2021. She continued to say of the album, "It’s my favorite thing that I’ve ever created. I’m just so proud of it, and feel so cocky about it.”
Also, her new photo book “Billie Eilish” was released on May 11th. “I thought it would be really cool to make a whole life-long story in pictures,” she said. “My life is kinda crazy and it’s cool to have a little memory of it.”
In the interview, she revealed that she had worn a wig resembling her famous black-and-green do for her appearance on the show in February.
“I was just as blond then as I am now,” she admitted. “I knew it would have those treatment periods where it looked crazy, and I didn’t want to look crazy. But I needed something quick – so I literally ordered a Billie Eilish Halloween costume wig from Amazon. It was horrible. It was the ugliest thing I have ever seen.”
