Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Griff Clawson released a new song “Things You Said” on March 26, 2021.
The track is the second single of 2021, following “2Lovely” released back in February.
He created the song with Johan Lindbrandt, Greg Holden and Tom Norris in Italy.
Griff Clawson said of the song, “'Things You Said' is really the song that helped me get over the ledge to start releasing music. It was the first song that I felt confident about that also felt true to myself. For me the song captures the feeling of confusion when words people once spoke to each other no longer ring true, and takes you through some scenes of personal story and how I felt coming off of a (metaphorical) high with somebody.”- He shared on social media, “Not much of a long caption guy but this song means so much to me for so many reasons. I made this song during a very special week in Italy with some of my now closest friends, and this is the first song that I had written in forever that felt honest and meaningful to me. It was the 2nd or 3rd song we'd written that day and it took maybe 30 minutes to finish (excluding reheating the pizza). Nothing but love to the people I created it with Johan Lindbrandt and Greg Holden and Tom Norris for blessing us all with his 🎛🎚.
