Conor Albert & Alice Auer Release New EP “Smile”: Streaming
- London-based music producer Conor Albert and British singer-songwriter Alice Auer released their collaboration EP “Smile” on March 5, 2021 via Young Poet Records.
Also, the latest single “See You” was released from the EP on the same day.
Alice Auer said of the song, “'See You' talks about the start of a relationship - getting to know someone, being excited to see them and having them stuck in your mind all day.”
Conor Albert added, “Whilst Alice and I were making this EP, I thought that it could be nice to have a track more in the style of my first EP Collage 1 - a bit more dancey and summery. It's a sound I want to focus on more after this project, so I'm really glad we managed to get this one out. This tune took some time to perfect, we went through so many ideas for the chorus, but I'm really happy what we settled on, Alice smashed it as always!”
The EP comprises of 4-track including a cover of 1949 jazz standard “Crazy He Calls Me” and unites jazz-inflected guitars and piano motifs with a bubbly rhythm section, topped by Alice Auer's sweet, airy vocals. Produced by Conor Albert.
