Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Brendan Baldwin, aka Puppet released his debut album “I Know You Know Who I Am” on December 12, 2020.
It is his first LP since his hiatus from the Puppet project was announced in November of 2019.
The album comprises of 9-track, featuring guest appearances from EDEN, Keepsake and Azuria Sky.
From the album, he dropped a new music video for “My Own Thing” on December 15th, produced and edited by Puppet.
His music is rock and punk-pop sound, inspiration from his past experiences living in Japan. The album merchandise is designed by Japanese illustrator Akane Malbeni.
Puppet shared on social media, “I feel like every moment of my life was leading up to this writing music changed me and my music changed with it.
I feel a sense of pride that I've never felt before, and so fucking lucky that everything thats ever happened to me brought me to write what I wrote this year.
I'm STILL listening to the album, I'm so proud to call it mine, call me conceited but I really don't give a shit.
I feel like I'm finally giving you all what I was meant to give and I'm so fucking thankful you all stuck around to hear it.
Photos, Videos, Memories was the easiest song to write but is the hardest for me to listen to the lyrics, I have been telling myself for years, now a public plea to get myself to listen, but even today, I'm still living in the past and I tear up thinking I probably always will.”- source : SoundCloud
