Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Blue October Releases New Song “The Girl Who Stole My Heart”
American alt-rock band Blue October released a new song “The Girl Who Stole My Heart” on Christmas Eve.
The band worked with Jeff Martin of American rock band IDAHO and American recording engineer Eric Holtz on the track.
The song follows up their tenth studio album “This Is What I Live For”, which was released back in October.
It was written by Justin Furstenfeld, Jeff Martin and Eric Holtz. Co-produced by Justin Furstenfeld and Eric Holtz.
The single cover is designed by Phillip Nichols, who also created the cover of the album “This Is What I Live For”.
Frontman Justin Furstenfeld shared on social media, “Christmas Eve I’m releasing this beautiful song to the world. I had the honor of writing with one of my childhood legends Jeff Martin from IDAHO and Eric Holtz. The process of writing and recording the instrumentation was not only a spiritual and one of the most creative journeys I’ve ever been on but one of the most romantic to date. This for me was a huge life goal being accomplished and I’m so proud to share it all with you.”
