The annual CMA Country Christmas special aired on November 30th on ABC.
This year’s show was a bit different than years past due to COVID-19 and was virtual. The event was filmed in Nashville, Tennessee.
The host was Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins this year.
The event featured guest appearances from Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Gabby Barrett, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Lady A, and Lindsey Stirling. They performed traditional Christmas songs.
"We can't wait for you all to get to watch that and get into the holiday spirit with us," Thomas Rhett told Good Morning America as he announced the exciting news.
"I feel like this year, everyone's needed things to celebrate and look forward to and so it was like the second Halloween was over...I started decorating for Christmas," Lauren Akins added.- source : CMA Country Christmas
