American actress Gina Naomi Baez has shared a new Christmas song “Christmas Candlelight”.
This marks her fourth Christmas song. She released "Don't Forget Your Pet on Christmas", "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party" and "White Christmas" between 2016 and 2018.
The song is inspired from Judy Garland's “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”.
Gina Naomi Baez shares on social media, “I don't know about everyone else, but the idea of the holidays this year in particular have been somewhat haunting me in the back of my mind. The uncertainty is some sort of darkness. I wrote Christmas candlelight as a source of light in that darkness. 🕯✨🎄 When writing Christmas Candlelight I was inspired by my favorite Christmas song: the original Judy Garland version of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. 🕯✨🎄”
She continued, “The holidays might feel dark and cancelled in a sense this year, and I hope this song reminds others of the importance of the season and what truly matters most.”- source : American Songwriter
