Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Clean Bandit & Mabel Drop New Remix for “Tick Tock” featuring Beenie Man and Konshens
British electronic music band Clean Bandit teamed up with singer-songwriter Mabel to release a new song “Tick Tock” featuring American rapper 24kGoldn back in August.
On October 19th, the band dropped a new remix of the song, featuring Jamaican DJ Beenie Man and singer Konshens.
The song was written with singer-songwriter Kamille before the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown began. Produced by Jack Patterson, Grace Chatto and Mark Ralph.
The band member, Grace Chatto said of the song, “We wrote it just before the pandemic and I was feeling a little obsessed with a guy – you know that annoying thing where you don't wanna be obsessed but you are? And if I find myself in that situation I do something I love and something which makes me feel satisfied in another way. In lockdown I enjoyed going for walks. I found being in nature makes you see the bigger picture again.”
The song will appear on Clean Bandit's upcoming third studio album and is also included as a bonus track on Mabel's debut album “High Expectations”, which was released in 2019.- u-r0_WFzVCs
