19-year-old British singer-songwriter Mimi Webb unveiled her second single “I'll Break My Heart Again” on August 7th, following the debut song “Before I Go” amassed over 3.3 million streams on Spotify.
The track will appear on her upcoming debut EP, which is expected to be released later this year via Epic Records.
“Writing [it] came from a really vulnerable place of admitting the truth of where your heart belongs,” Mimi Webb told Flaunt magazine. “You know it's not right or good for you, but you can no longer convince yourself to stay away from the person you're still in love with — even though you have something good going with another.”
She said of the music video, “it was such an emotional rollercoaster for me, from showing the struggle in my expressions to the nonstop pacing throughout. It really took me back to the feeling of being stuck in my own mind over a tough decision.”- source : Flaunt magazine
