The Ones You Forgot Returns With New Song “Something For Me”
New Jersey-based pop/rock band The Ones You Forgot is back. The band released their first single “Something For Me” in two years, following their second EP “Too Afraid to Say”.
Also, it is their first release since playing at the 25th Anniversary of the Vans Warped Tour. The accompanying lyric video was created by Stephanie O'Byrne.
The band said of the song, “Something For Me embraces the freedom of escaping an unhealthy relationship, and the struggle that unfortunately comes along with it. It's all about realizing the love you deserve and learning that it's not fair for you to keep waiting for respect, especially when you repeatedly ask for it. One of the most frustrating parts, is when you still crave that person even when you know they are only killing you from the inside out.”
The Ones You Forgot was formed in 2014, consisting of Jenna Bruno (Vocals), Matthew Thompson (Guitar), Ferdinand Benauro (Guitar), Justin Rodman (Drums) and Lance Nelson (Bass).
The band released their debut EP “Peaks & Valleys” in 2015. The sophomore EP “Too Afraid to Say” was released in 2018.- source : Broad Way World
