Thomas Azier Shares New Song “Hold On Tight”
Dutch avant-pop singer-songwriter Thomas Azier has unveiled a new song “Hold On Tight” with an accompanying music video.
The track was written by Thomas Azier and Ellen Treasure, and will appear on his upcoming fourth studio album “Love, Disorderly”, which is set to be released on June 12th.
The music video was directed by Ayoto Ataraxia, who was born in Taiwan and is an artist currently living between Berlin and New York.
While earlier singles “Love, Disorderly” and “Entertainment” and their respective short films, embody the sense of socio-political urgency, freeform expression and unflinching experimentation permeating the album, ‘Hold On Tight’ shows a more tender side.
Director Ayoto Ataraxia said, “This film observes the people of Myanmar on their daily commute at dawn. The friendship between me and Thomas sparked a desire to create a series of motorbike memories. Freedom within chaos, acceptance of danger, riding towards a new day."
