British singer-songwriter Issey Cross released a new song “Sleepwalking” on February 23, 2024.
The song is the first single of 2024, following the release of “Bittersweet Goodbye” last June.
This time, she recruited British rapper Songer for the song. This marks their first collaboration.
The track was written by Adam Midgley, Craig Hayward, Gez O'Connell, Issey Cross, and James Songer. Produced by Adam Midgley, Shapes, and Sudley.
The song traces personal themes of anxiety, pressure and a rapidly changing world around her.
The track is accompanied by a music visualiser. Issey Cross said, “Thursday night at the carpet shop with you all was the best this was actually pretty scary to film.”
Issey Cross is currently touring in New Zealand and Australia through March 3, 2024.
