Paloma Faith Releases New Song “Bad Woman”
British singer-songwriter Paloma Faith released a new song “Bad Woman” on November 24, 2023.
The song is the second single off of her upcoming sixth studio album “The Glorification of Sadness”, following “How You Leave A Man” released last month.
She calls the single as a “personal standout”.
The track was written by Holly Lapsley Fletcher and Fred Cox. Produced by Martin Wave and Jamie McEvoy.
Paloma Faith said of the song in a statement, “This song is me reclaiming the power that I felt I'd lost after a rough few years and it's so special to me.”
She continued, “[Bad Woman] delved into the myriad societal challenges women confront. My hope is that women embrace their authenticity, feel comfortable in their own skin, and understand that imperfection is a part of being human. Let's free ourselves from the societal pressures that label us and encourage each other to stay true to our authentic selves.”
- Paloma Faith shared with some women's photos on social media, “Being a woman is not easy, you are often burdened by extreme expectations and branded as difficult if you defy them or go against the grain. These women for one reason or another have inspired me immensely, and I salute you all for flying in the face of the patriarchy.”
The new album comprises 17-track and is set to be released on February 16, 2024. It is her first album in four years since the 2020 album “Infinite Things”.
