Mary J. Blige Returns With New Song “Still Believe in Love” featuring Vado
American singer-songwriter Mary J. Blige returned with a new song “Still Believe in Love” on October 27, 2023.
It is her first solo single since the 2022 album “Good Morning Gorgeous”.
This time, she teamed up with American rapper Vado on the track.
The track was weitten by Bradley Thomas Jr, Cassidy Podell, Elliot Trent, Jeff Gitelman, Mary J. Blige, and Teyon Winfree. Produced by DJ Cassidy and Jeff 'Gitty' Gitelman.
The accompanying music video was directed by Eif Rivera and Mary J. Blige.
Before the release of the song, she appeared on American biographical drama “Rob Peace”, where she played as Rob Peace's mother Jackie.
The drama is based on the biography “The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace” by Jeff Hobbs.- Back in March, Mary J. Blige told REVOLT about the balance as a strong Black woman like Jackie in an interview, “I had to learn how to pick my battles and surrender to things that I don’t have control over. Work hard at doing things that can benefit me in my life instead of trying to control people and things. That’s the balance.”
