JVKE Releases New Song “this is what autumn feels like”
American singer-songwriter Jacob Dodge Lawson, aka JVKE released a new song “this is what autumn feels like” on September 12, 2023 via AWAL.
Before the release of the song, this year, he joined in five collaborative singles “With All My Heart” with ILLENIUM, “Fool 4 U” with Galantis and Enisa, “Angel Pt. 1” and “Angel Pt. 2” with Jimin, Charlie Puth and Muni Long, “STRINGS” with MAX and Bazzi.
As his solo single, the song follows up “this is what losing someone feels like”, which was released back in March.
The track was written by Jake Lawson and Zac Lawson. Produced by JVKE and ZVC.
JVKE said of the song, “I scored this song while staring out my window watching the concerto of autumn leaves falling in my yard.”- Before releasing the new song, he shared on social media after his headlining tour 2023, “Last spring I was living in I was living in my parents basement, my brother and I made a few Songs, one of them happened to be golden hour. one year later, we sold out every venue of our first headlining tour. I got to travel north america with people I love, and finally met so many of you! I even got to work on some new music that i can't wait to show you! the past month has been stressful fast-paced, but most of all, beautiful. With all the numbers on Social media, it's easy to lose sight of the real impact of the music, but this past month reminded me just how blessed i am to be doing this. I couldn't be more grateful for you guys and although I'm happy to be home, I'm sad that tour has come to an end. I miss you guys already ♡ I am very very tired, very thankful, and excited to turn over a new leaf this next season... See you soon.”
