Paris Paloma Releases New Song “as good a reason”
British singer-songwriter Paris Paloma released a new song “as good a reason” on September 1, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to “labour”, and “yeti” featuring Old Sea Brigade, which was released back in March and June, each.
It was written by written by Paris Paloma and produced by Justin Glasco.
The accompanying music video was directed by Harris Alvi.
Having previously explored the soul destroying inequality inherent in cis-het relationships in “labour”, this time, Paris Paloma describes the support and joyful encouragement that women find in each other and in communities on the track.
Paris Paloma said of the song, “’as good a reason’ is a love letter to the idea of women having conversations. It’s passing knowledge down to each other, in a way that helps us to move away from the male gaze and patriarchy.”- Photo by Nicole Nodland
