Starbenders Releases New Song “Cherry Wine”
American rock band Starbenders, consisting of Kimi Shelter (vocals/guitar), Aaron Lecesne (bass), Emily Moon (drums) and Kriss Tokaji (guitar), released the fifth single called “Cherry Wine” from their upcoming third studio album “Take Back The Night” on August 17, 2023.
The song was born in the wake of the band's most challenging obstacles to date. From life threatening necrotizing bacterial pneumonia to addiction to two years of the world in limbo, it felt like the punches kept coming and coming.
The track was written by Kimi Shelter and James Hall. Produced by Nico Constantine and Patrick Collier.
The band lead singer Kimi Shelter said of the song, “Put your lips to the velvet elixir that is 'Cherry Wine'. I wrote this as a fairy tale. Once we take a drink, we find ourselves in a land of dreams, nightmares and fuzzy guitars. I hope you can feel the cold, mossy forest floor beneath your feet while listening.”
