Devon Cole Releases New Song “Dickhead”
Toronto-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Devon Cole released a new song “Dickhead” along with a music video on August 11, 2023 via Arista Records.
The song is the follow-up to “1-800-GOT-STRESS”, which was released back in June.
The track was written by Devon Mackenzie Cole, Maureen 'Mozella' McDonald, and Brian Brundage. Produced by Adam Friedman.
The accompanying video was directed by Kevin Lien.
Devon Cole said of the song, “Dickhead is the song for me. I feel like it captures so much of who I am. From the title to lyrics to the beat, it’s everything I wanna be as an artist. It’s a track that makes you wanna move and makes you smile. We had a laugh coming up with the lyrics. It’s hooky and just straight-up fun and I love it.”
She continued “Dickhead is also very representative of my future sound, I think. I’m a sucker for a good guitar riff and a driving beat.
