Barny Fletcher Releases New Song “Masterpiece”
Back in May, London-based singer-songwriter Barny Fletcher announced his debut album “Lonestar” would be released on August 25, 2023 via Guin Records.
The album is he follows up the 2022 mixtape “JETPACK” and features a collection of songs written against the backdrop of a road trip to California.
From the album, he has released the second single called “Masterpiece”, following “WOO!”.
The track was written by Matthew Bernard, Barny Fletcher, and Davion Jaleel Gayles. Produced by Dj Icee, Mtech, and PBnJ.
Barny Fletcher said of the song, “A musician travels from town to town, playing music in smokey down bars. When in LA, he happens upon the prettiest girl he’s ever seen. He makes it his mission to get her to stay, she says he can only do that by making her dance. This song is on some disco shit. I structured it similar to Love Comes Down because it’s one if the best songs ever written.”- Previous song “WOO!”
