Mashville Releases New Song “OK” featuring Tyke T & Nova Chez
American vocal group Mashville, consisting of Jada Arnell, Caleb Minter, Ari Zizzo, Nova Chez and Sian Michelle, released a new song “OK” along with a music video on May 19, 2023.
The song was released in honor of Mental Health Awareness month.
On the track, the group focus on topics such as mental health and use their musical abilities to pass along positive messaging hoping to reach people who are struggling.
The group teamed up with Memphis-based rapper Tyke T on the track.
The track was written by Marc Benjamin, Valentin, and Tyke T. Produced by Emile Ghantous, Valentin, and Marc Benjamin.
The accompanying video was directed by Ben Samuels, featuring Nova Chez and dancer Alexandre Barranco.
Mashville founding member Nova Chez said of the song, “'OK' is about talking about the really hard things that people avoid because of the stigma. My message is that it's okay to not be okay, it's okay to talk about things. For loved ones, family members, talk to people about it. Even though it's uncomfortable you need to have those tough conversations.”-
