Post Malone Announces New Album “AUSTIN”, Shares New Song “Mourning”
American rapper Post Malone announced his fifth studio album “AUSTIN” would be released on July 28, 2023 via Republic Records/Mercury Records.
The album comprises 17-track, produced by Post Malone, Louis Bell, and Andrew Watt.
The album is titled after his real name Austin Richard Post.
Post Malone shared on social media, “It's been some of the funnest music, [and] some of the most challenging and rewarding music. For me, at least. [I've been] trying to really push myself and really do some cool stuff. I played guitar on every song on the record, and it was a really, really fun experience. I'm super, super excited to share it with you.”
He continued, “Proud to announce my new album titled 'Austin' dropping on July 28th. This whole deal has been one of the most challenging, rewarding, and exciting records I've worked on. i feel it captures who i am as a man and as an artist in this moment. thank y'all so much for your patience, and thank you for being there with me in my hardest times. i love y'all so much, and am ready to fucking party with y'all. cheers, and keep spreading love💕🍻”- From the album, he unveiled the second single called “Mourning” on May 19, 2023, following “Chemical”.
The track was written and produced by Austin Post, Louis Bell, and Andrew Watt.
He has already filmed the music video for the song in Scotland, which is coming soon.
