AIRPORTS Releases New Song “NEED U HERE”
Brisbane-based singer-songwriter Aaron Lee, aka AIRPORTS released a new song “NEED U HERE” on May 11, 2023.
The song is his first music since the EP “For My Youth” released last December.
It was written by Aaron Lee and Danny Fox. Produced by AIRPORTS, Harry Fox, and Laminar.
The track draws his personal experiences with loss of a loved one, as well as loss of true self and identity.
Aaron Lee said of the song, “Musically, I’ve always loved bands like Pendulum and how they blended rock with drum n bass. I’m more of a pop punk singer and have wanted to play with the idea of that over drum n bass in a similar but fresh vein.”
Also, he shared on social media, “I’ve wanted to attempt for this sound awhile.. mixing dnb with punk so this song is a big sonics achievement for me. What a way to kick this AIRPORTS era off..”- Photo by Bæux Kitas
