Nonstop To Cairo Releases New Song “Not Today” featuring Blaque Alex
New York-based rock band Nonstop To Cairo, consisting of August “ASH” Harris (vocals,) Nick Diamond (guitar/vocals,) Alex Turner (drums/vocals) and Ed Nevin (Bass guitar), will release their second album “KAI” this Friday (May 5th).
It is their first album in six years since the 2017 debut album “Dabble Heavy”.
From the album, the band has released the third single called “Not Today” along with a music video.
This time, the band teamed up with New York-based rapper Blaque Alex on the track.
The track was written by Blaque Alex, Nicholas James Diamond, August S Harris and Alexander Joseph Turner.
Produced by Will Harris, Jim Sabella, and Nonstop to Cairo. The accompanying video was directed by BoxVisuals.
Nick Diamond said of the song “Not Today is a song about showing Love to yourself. It's about telling those internal demons... back off!! Maybe tomorrow.... Not Today”.- The new album “KAI” is named as a tribute to the band's trumpet player/keyboardist Kevin Anand Itwaru, whose initials make up the album title.
Kevin Anand Itwaru passed away tragically just before the album was recorded.
Nick Diamond said, “KAI is a celebration of life, dedicated to our friend, brother, and former member Kevin Anand Itwaru who passed away in 2020. The project is a great portrayal of the vision we created with him, as our sound is ever-evolving.
