American singer-songwriter SZA teamed up with American rapper Doja Cat again to release a new remix of “Kill Bill” on April 14, 2023.
This marks the second collaboration between SZA and Doja Cat, following their 2021 single “Kiss Me”.
The original version of the song is featured on SZA's second album “SOS”, which was released last December.
The track was written by Solána Rowe, Carter Lang,Rob Bisel, and Doja Cat. Produced by Carter Lang.
The original version “Kill Bill” reached No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 3 on the UK Singles chart.
Also, the album became her first number-one album on the Billboard 200 and broke the record for the largest streaming week for an R&B album.
SZA told billboard about the song becoming the highest-charting song on the album “SOS”, “I knew it would be something that pissed me off. It's always a song that I don't give a fuck about that's just super easy, not the shit that I put so much heart and energy into.
