A R I Z O N A Returns With New Song “Moving On”
American electro-pop band A R I Z O N A, consisting of Zachary Charles (lead vocals), Nathan Esquite (guitar) and David Labuguen (keyboards), returned with a new song “Moving On” on February 8, 2023.
The band shared on social media, “It's good to be back. Our first single of 2023 is officially HERE.”
It is their first music in four years since the 2019 album “Asylum”.
Also the song will appear on their upcoming third studio album.
Last year the band announced the cancellation of their fall tour. At that time, the band said in the announcement, “If it adds any small sprinkle of joy into this message we'll let you all be the first to know that Album Three is officially DONE.”
The track was written by Zachary Charles, Nathan Esquite, David Labuguen, Nate Cyphert, and PJ Bianco. Produced by PJ Bianco and A R I Z O N A.
Guitarist Nathan Esquite said of the song, “I just turned 31, and 13-year-old me couldn't be prouder knowing that we're releasing our new single 'Moving On' with Fueled By Ramen! It's a dream come true to be signed with a label that has been so impactful in my life.”
The accompanying music video was directed by Owen Brown, who filmed in Round Rock, Arizona.
Keyboardist David Labuguen said, “‘Moving On’ is our first single since 2019 and embodies what the past four years have been like – dancing and crying through all the ups and downs of life, love, work, and uncertainty. The video symbolizes what A R I Z O N A means for us, and what we hope it can be for other people: A place where misfits and outcasts can belong. A safe space for all of our humanity. A beacon of hope for everyone who wants to give up and feels like they can’t keep going – we’ll be alright if we keep moving on.
A R I Z O N A will support Quinn XCII's The People's Tour this summer. The tour kicks off at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA on MAY 4, 2023.
