Anne-Marie Releases New Song “SAD B!TCH”
British singer-songwriter Anne-Marie released a new song “SAD B!TCH” along with a music video on February 3, 2023.
The song is the second single off of her upcoming third studio album, following “PSYCHO” released last September.
It was written by Anne-Marie Nicolson, Evan Blair, Nami Ondas, Samuel Brennan, Tom Hollings, and Upsahl.
"'SAD B!TCH' is a song about not being sad anymore," Anne-Marie said of the song. "Whether you’ve had a break-up, lost someone, you’re feeling down or just hate your boss. It’s time for happiness. It’s time for a change of plan. Time to put yourself first. Time to turn the page. Leave it behind and start again. A new chapter, a new storyline. A new you."
She shot the music video at an abandoned unused theme park.
Anne-Marie sahred on social media, “We found an abandoned unused theme park and jumped the gates and turned on all the rides!!! Jk, it was shut for January so just hired it out but just believe the first thing I said it's way more fun 🤪🤪”
The new album is expected to be released in 2023. It is her first album in two years since the 2021 album “Therapy”.
She said of the album, “I've been writing a lot of new stuff... and I feel like I've figured out what I want to say. I feel like from the first and second album I've learnt a lot about myself, and know this is now who I am.”- source : Apple Music
