  • Nightbirde Covers Maverick City Music's “The Story I'll Tell”

  • American singer-songwriter Jane Kristen Marczewski, aka Nightbirde passed away on February 19, 2022 due to breast cancer. She was 31.


    After her death, her family Launched Foundation To Help Other Women With Breast Cancer “Live Out Their Dreams”.
    Her family said, “We thought, 'There have to be other Janes out there that don't have the same resources, that don't have the same family, that don't have the same blessing that Jane had received. So we set up a 501C3 called the Nightbirde Foundation.”
    The Nightbirde Foundation serves young women with breast cancer, raising money to help them get into cancer clinics that will help them get the treatment they need.

    In honor of the anniversary of her death, they released the last song she ever recorded a cover of Maverick City Music's “The Story I'll Tell” on her birthday (December 29th).
  • “These lyrics are so powerful and feel like they were written specifically for Jane's journey.” her family shared on social media.
    The accompanying music video was directed by Janet Loos. The song was produced by Ryland Talamo.
    The original version of the song was released by American contemporary worship music collective Maverick City Music from their 2020 album “Maverick City Vol. 3 - Part 2”.
    The proceeds of the song will go to the Nightbirde Foundation.
