Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Nia Archives Premieres New Song “So Tell Me…” on BBC Radio 1
London-based singer-songwriter Nia Archives premiered a new song “So Tell Me…” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song follows up “Baianá”, which was released back in September.
It was written by Nia Archives, James Jacob, and Ed Thomas. Produced by Nia Archives and Jakwob.
Nia Archives told Clara Amfo about the song, “It was one of them songs that just like came really quickly like I didn't have to think about it too much like the melody just come into my head I was I just want to get it down. It's my proudest creation of year I'm feeling about mostly about I can't lie. I'm very happy it's out and hope people can relate to it.”
She continued, “It's really like real to me, and I wrote it from a really, real place. Kind of talking about like my estrangement. I've been estranged since I was 16. So it was me just like processing that. But also, I guess people could hear it in like a breakup terms as well. Feel a bit emotional I can't lie but I'm very happy it's out.”- Photo by Amy Peskett
